Midway through the retreat, get ready for the ultimate challenge: the Acatenango Overnight Volcano Hike. Over two unforgettable days, you’ll hike to base camp with views of nearby Fuego Volcano—one of the most active in the world. For the adventurous, optional hikes include a trek to Fuego for a closer look at its eruptions and a sunrise summit of Acatenango the next morning. This is not an easy climb, but the reward is pure magic: lava under the stars and epic sunrise views above the clouds. Meals and camping are included—just bring your sense of adventure.
